Tax Analyst
Tax Analyst | Orlando, FL Our client is seeking a Tax Analyst to join their team. In this role you will assist the Chief Tax & Compliance Officer in maintaining a high standard of tax data, corporate compliance, and integrity in financial data. Responsibilities + Prepare and maintain the Sales tax library. + Ensure Corporate Minute Books are up to date. + Prepare and maintain the tax filing calendar. + Prepare Tangible Personal Property tax filings with support for review. + Ensure fixed asset tax schedules are up to date. + Assist in data preparation for bank compliance filings. Essential Skills + Strong understanding of accounting and GAAP. + Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices including accounts receivable, accounts payable functions, and month-end procedures. + Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. + Adherence to strict deadlines. + Superior communication skills for direct contact with staff and management. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel. + Experience with accounting software applications, preferably Sage. + Knowledge of Canada/USA/Germany/UK taxes. + Transfer pricing experience. + Ability to prepare sales tax returns, tangible property tax, and income tax filings. + 5+ years of experience in a related field.
