Job Title: Tax & Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Assist the Chief Tax & Compliance Officer in maintaining a high standard of tax data, corporate compliance, and integrity in financial data.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain the Sales tax library.Ensure Corporate Minute Books are up to date.Prepare and maintain the tax filing calendar.Prepare Tangible Personal Property tax filings with support for review.Ensure fixed asset tax schedules are up to date.Assist in data preparation for bank compliance filings.Essential SkillsStrong understanding of accounting and GAAP.Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices including accounts receivable, accounts payable functions, and month-end procedures.Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Adherence to strict deadlines.Superior communication skills for direct contact with staff and management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.Experience with accounting software applications, preferably Sage.Knowledge of Canada/USA/Germany/UK taxes.Transfer pricing experience.Ability to prepare sales tax returns, tangible property tax, and income tax filings.5+ years of experience in a related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsProactive and confident decision-making abilities.Ability to hit the ground running.Work Environment

Flexible work environment with a hybrid model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. The remote days are flexible. The company offers bonuses based on KPI execution and performance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
