Role: Tax Associate
Location: Remote (Office in Wakefield, MA if wanted to go onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Tax Associate to join our team and assist with a variety of tax return preparation tasks. This is a remote position, but candidates have the option to visit the office in Wakefield as needed. The role involves preparing individual, corporate, and entity returns, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.

Responsibilities:

Prepare tax returns for individuals (1040s), non-profits (990s), and other entity types, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Assist with multi-state tax filings and foreign compliance filings.Provide tax planning services and projections to individuals and businesses, helping minimize tax liabilities.Conduct federal and state tax research to resolve complex issues and stay compliant with changing regulations.Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality client service.Collaborate with senior tax professionals on projects and assist with the workflow during peak tax season.Take on special projects to gain exposure to various areas of taxation.

Qualifications:
