Tax & Banking Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Capacity Building/ Technical works

Capacitate field accountant/finance to enhance their capacity to implement the update tax regulation including tax software in the specific project’s location.Conduct training in internet banking program to finance team.Conduct training for finance and non-finance staff related to the update tax regulation.Participate actively in finance meeting.

Accountability & Quality Assurance

Review taxable transactions to ensure compliance with government regulation and provide advice and solution to staff and management.Prepare monthly and annual tax report to Government.Review and follow up consultant tax reports.Prepare and monitor tax aging report.Prepare payment to Kas Negara.Implement the practice of valid documentation for tax payment in compliance with tax regulation.Prepare bank deposits voucher, verifying and balancing receipts and sending cash, cheque or other forms of payment to the bank.Prepare transfer request for Zonal funding request & internal transfer memo.Receive cash, refund advance, sale of merchandise, etc and deposit to the bank.Record and upload deposit bank transactions to finance system.Implement internet banking process according to standard and all documentation well kept, in NO and in Project.Maintain and update bank signatories.Conduct cash stock opname.Coordinate with procurement department to ensure the accuracy of vendor data and timely payment to vendors.Conduct timely payment to staffs and project funding requests.Perform bank reconciliations.Provide calculation of rate revaluation.Responsible for the storage of financial documentation.Provide necessary data/information related to internal/external audit.

Management & Leadership

Timely submit Performance Agreements that includes Individual Learning and Development Plan and staff spiritual nurture plan, and Annual Performance Reviews.Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit and department.Provide Christian value and support to enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.Be a role model and inspiration in managing work, communication and relationship with internal staff and external parties.Manage all risks related to financial business process according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks.Develop good networks and relationships between project accountants, other departments, tax consultant and government tax officer, bank officer.Coordinate with third party related to document storage, retrieval and destruction

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance / tax.At least 3 years experiences in accounting/finance/tax. Professional Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and EnglishAbility to travel within country or internationally. Up to 25% of travel timeGood working knowledge of computerized accounting system.Certified brevet tax A & B is an advantage.Possessing expertise in treasury management.Familiar with internet banking.
