Job Description & Summary

A career in our Accounting and Tax Reporting practice, within PwC Private, will provide you with the opportunity to help private companies with a range of business advisory services to resolve their day-to-day business issues and to help them achieve long-term success. You will advise clients on their local tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant, and will help them manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. Our team helps our clients with accounting and complex tax reporting. You will focus on planning and executing notice to reader and review engagements; drafting and filing local financial statements; reviewing personal trust and corporate income tax returns, and other tax reporting forms; and will assist with year-end planning and bookkeeping.

Main purpose of the job and key background information 

Work as part of a team to handle day-to-day accounting and investment activities of multiple entities, which includes processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliation, GST/Sales Tax Reconciliation, Investment Activity Reconciliation, T-Slip Reconciliation, Employee expenses processing on cloud-based accounting platforms and Financial Statements and Management Accounts Review. 

     

Handling day-to-day bookkeeping of multiple clients and meeting deadlines. 

Establish effective working relationships directly with clients. 

Flexible to work during late night occasionally to attend client calls and trainings. 

Assist in the management and delivering of large projects. 

Requirements 

These should include essential & desirable requirements such as: 

Level of experience

Technical Capability 

Experience: 1-2 years 

Good accounting knowledge 

Brief knowledge of GST 

Good communications skill 

MS Office (good knowledge of MS Excel) 

Knowledge in Xero Accounting Software would be an added advantage
