This role will serve to assist the corporate tax team in preparing and filing all applicable tax documents. This role will handle minor tax related reconciliations.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of data for property and fuel tax return complianceAssist in the preparation of data for sales and use tax return compliance as neededReconcile property and fuel tax accountsUpdate and maintain tax calendarsAssist with the filing of property, fuel and sales and use tax returnsMaintain PropertyPoint software including: real and personal property assets, vendors, GL accounts, tax returns, assessments and bills. Research and resolve assessed value and tax bill discrepenciesReview and code tax billsEvaluate property tax accruals for reasonableness.Assist with gathering data and preparation of incentive reportsCoordinate property tax payments for leased properties with the real estate department.

Job Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

Prior experience tax payments and processing requiredPrevious experience with accounting information systems, SAP preferredProficiency with Microsoft excel preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills
