Skills/Requirements:
Good MS Office Skills – Excel experience is a must
DO NOT need to be able to write Macros
DO need to be able to sort a spreadsheet, filter, add/delete columns, etc
Comfortable working in other web-based computer software
Data Entry - accurate and relatively quick
Effective oral and written communicator
Will be calling our store GM’s and local jurisdictions on the phone to discuss business licensing requirements
Will be emailing with our store GM’s and local jurisdictions on the same
Critical Thinking Skills – Exhibit the ability to think through a process logically and arrive at a realistic solution
Team Player – Will work as part of a collective group and able to work independently on their portion of the work
Description of the work they will be performing:
Oversight of the business licensing process for all new store openings
Work directly with our third-party processor on annual licenses renewals for existing store and distribution center locations. This includes, but is not limited to providing all financial and headcount data necessary to renew license and coordinating funding requests made weekly for the license fees.
Scan and distribute all licenses issued by state and local jurisdictions to our store locations.
Tasks:
Sorting mail on tax notices, and business license renewals, getting them to the right teams
Handling business licenses which may include researching what licenses are needed for a specific location, filling out forms and paying permit fees.
Helping with report filing, fee payments, and exemption certificates
General responses for retail certifications
