Compensation Range
Hourly: $29.90 - $35.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to handle closings for Tax Credit purchases, payments for Tax Credit purchases, and processing of payment resulting from Tax Credit purchases.
Essential Functions
Monitor all required collateral documentation for Tax Credit Services
Maintain reports used for tracking and reporting Tax Credit Purchases and Sales
Maintain, create, and organize paper and electronic files for wire transfers and fundings in assigned states
Quickly and efficiently transfer documents required for funding clients
Assist in communications with large certified public accounting firms for establishing needs of their nationwide customers
Assist with establishing new certified public accountant contacts for selling certificated credits
Maintain rapport with key personnel at respective State Historic Preservation offices in assigned states
Assist with department wire transfers up to assigned limits
Perform routine administrative duties including expense reports, coordinating internal referral fees, identifying internal bank tax needs, and coordinating with internal business partners
Supplements business development efforts such as researching prospects, identifying leads, and organizing data
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Basic understanding of State Tax Credit industry and the state statutes where business is conducted including knowledge of best practices
Basic administrative skills for software/applications and reconciliation policy
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, paralegal studies, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
2 + years business operations experience required
Tax Credit industry experience preferred
