If so, we are working with one of our biopharma clients in Montgomery County on a fantastic Tax Manager role. this is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a growing tax department where you can be value added. This role is crucial in managing a wide range of areas related to tax compliance and planning projects.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the company's global indirect tax compliance and planning, such as sales and use tax, and personal property tax.
• Prepare analysis, memos, and other necessary documentation to support the company's state and local income tax compliance, provision, and planning.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations to effectively evaluate state and local tax opportunities, incentives, and risks, and communicate considerations to key stakeholders.
• Support tax compliance and planning related to employee benefits and executive compensation, including equity-based compensation and state-by-state payroll sourcing and reporting.
• Assist in managing fixed asset tax analysis and reporting.
• Support outsourced federal, state, and local income tax compliance.
• Aid in the preparation and/or review of the annual income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures in accordance with ASC 740.
• Research, prepare and/or review internal documentation to support tax compliance and planning positions.
• Assist with preparing communications and presentations of tax considerations and conclusions to the VP of Tax and/or Finance and business leaders.
The ideal candidate for this Tax Manager role will have their CPA, 7+ years of tax experience in corporate, partnership and SALT, as well as 2+ years of supervisory experience. The comp range for this position is 130K-160K + bonus + equity and full benefits. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of seven years of experience in a similar role or related field.
• Proficiency in Annual Income Tax Provision is required.
• Demonstrated skills in Compliance, particularly in a corporate setting.
• Expertise in Corporate Income Tax is a must.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Corporate Tax Returns.
• Knowledge of Multi-state Tax and related regulations.
• Ability to ensure Income Tax Compliance in all business operations.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Income Tax Returns.
• Proficiency in preparing Federal Income Tax Returns.
• Strong analytical skills for accurate and effective Analysis of tax-related data.
• Experience in managing Corporate Tax Compliance.
