Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries' Corporate Finance & Accounting Team is looking or eager interns to join their team. Learn about finance and accounting with an intern position in various departments within the company (e.g., Corporate Accounting, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Internal Audit, Internal Control, Payroll, etc.).

Essential Responsibilities include:

Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as party of the accounting month-end closeAssist in preparation of the company’s financial statementsAnalyze potential accounting transactions and perform research as neededReview accounting processes within the company and assist with internal control documentationAssist in the SOX Program, relating to items such as, walkthroughs, control testing, etc.Assist in audits while building relationships with other departments

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Education – Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field or a proficiency in accountingLanguage Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)Travel - Up to 10%Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:
