Essential Duties/Responsibilities:  

Tax Compliance

Oversee and manage all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including reviewing federal, state and local tax returns prepared by a third-party tax advisor.Manage all domestic income tax matters, including data gathering, research and analysis of applicable tax laws, and ensuring company compliance with tax reporting/filing requirements.Lead the process of preparing and filing monthly, quarterly and annual state sales and use tax returns,Manage third-party tax advisor that assists with property tax compliance,Periodically review the Company’s nexus exposure and implement procedures to maintain compliance,Responsible for all federal, state and local tax estimated payments,Calculate and record the periodic tax provision for all US entities, Oversee the year-end income tax provision process.

Transfer Pricing

Manage transfer pricing policies and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and coordination with external tax advisor.Review transfer pricing reports prepared by a third-party tax advisor.  Ensure timely completion of all transfer pricing reports.Monitor legal entity profitability and conformity to agreements including billing and cost-plus calculations.Lead the monthly transfer pricing analysis by country, order and profitability issues.

Family Tax (Owners of Greene Tweed)

Partner with the Chairman of the Company in family tax matters which include, but is not limited to, managing third-party tax advisors and reviewing federal, state and local returns that relate to family-owned legal entities.Partner with the Chairman of the Company in family-related tax projects.Provide guidance to the family owners on tax matters.

Other Areas of Responsibility

Supervise the work of 1 individual (tax analyst)Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the Company’s tax positions.Be the internal subject matter for all tax-related questions. Partner with internal departments by providing support for tax rates and other ad hoc requests.Prepare tax account journal entries and ensure tax-related general ledger accounts are reconciled monthly.Cash repatriation process – assist with determining the most efficient method of bringing cash back to the US.Develop and implement solutions to tax issues where procedures may not be well defined.Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.Keep current on new tax GAAP pronouncements and tax law changes to ensure the Company’s compliance with any new standards or regulations.Be the subject matter expert for the Company’s indirect tax software program, Vertex.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (or equivalent)Active CPA licenseAdvanced degreed preferred

Skills and Experience: 

Required

10+ years of total experienceStrong technical knowledge of tax regulations and filing requirementsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
