Description Robert Half is partnering with a growing Wealth Management/Tax Firm to hire a Tax Manager to become an integral part of their team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role involves managing the preparation, review, and signing of various tax returns, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, and providing training and development to other staff members. Responsibilities: + Oversee the preparation, review, and signing of individual, trust, estate, gift, and partnership tax returns + Address tax-related questions raised by tax preparers and detail-oriented staff and conduct necessary research + Stay updated with tax laws, analyze changes, and conduct research to ensure compliance and develop effective tax planning strategies + Conduct training and development sessions for tax professionals and other staff members, and advise on tax law developments + Provide audit support for clients when required + Actively engage in marketing and promoting the firm to potential clients + Evaluate and design efficient and improved procedural systems for delivering tax services + Maintain a comprehensive understanding of tax department policies and procedures + Leverage accounting software systems for efficient management of tax-related tasks + Comply with established accounting functions and annual income tax provision processes Requirements + Minimum of 5 years of Tax experience + Licensed CPA required + Five to eight years tax experience, with emphasis on high income, high net-worth individuals with complex tax situations + Supervisory experience This position is 100% in office in DTC.
