Accommodation is available upon request for candidates taking part in the selection process. **Job Title: Tax Manager EMEA** **How does this role contribute to our collective success?** + This is an opportunity to work in a large international financial services company with the opportunity to gain valued experience across EMEA region in both direct & indirect taxes. + The Tax Department operates within a co-source model that works with tax professional service and finance business partnering firms to assist in the preparation and management of tax activities. + Working as part of the tax team, you will be a core member of the finance team globally. **What will you do in this role?** + Management of corporate income tax compliance within the EMEA region. Supporting quarterly and annual US GAAP tax provision & budget activities. + Responsibility for ensuring the indirect tax returns and payment compliance for Irish entities and respective branches.  You will perform reviews of the work being completed by finance teams in India, including providing resolution to queries and escalations. + Managing relationships with third party outsource provider and other AXIS departments including Finance, Legal, HR etc. You will have the opportunity to work with local service teams and with cross border service teams and build strong networks both domestically and internationally. + Providing commercially focused and actionable tax support to internal and external customers in respect of local business operations across all tax heads. + Ensuring compliance with local transfer pricing regulations within the framework of overall business model. + Assist with an array of tax projects across BEPs 2/GLoBE, withholding taxes, group financing and transfer pricing. + Ensure timely query resolution from auditors and Revenue Authorities + Contributing to on-going training for other departments in relation to tax matters. + Developing, maintaining and implementing enhanced processes and controls commensurate to a growing multinational enterprise You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role. **About You:** **What you need to have:** + Qualified Accountant or Tax professional (CTA/ACA/ACCA/CIM) + Able to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience at all levels and the ability to interact confidently with various stakeholders. + including Executive Leadership. + Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail + Able to self-start own tasks and to independently lead small projects. + Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment. + Can do attitude - Identifying problems and tracking down potential causes; recognising important information and establishing a link between different data sets; drawing correct and realistic conclusions based on the available information.
