We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join our team, focusing on state and local taxes. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage our indirect tax functions, specifically state sales tax, while also overseeing state and local income tax compliance and reporting. As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our tax strategies align with regulatory requirements and support our business objectives.
This position will report into the Sr. Director, Tax Operations and will be a hybrid role reporting to our corporate headquarters in Radnor, PA - 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPAcertification is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in state and local tax, with a strong emphasis on indirect taxes, particularly state sales tax. Experience in state and local income tax compliance and reporting is also desired.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of state and local tax laws and regulations.

Alteryx and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
How You Will Thrive and Create an Impact:
Tax Compliance: Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of state sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with all state and local tax laws. Ensure sales and use tax engine determinations are accurate and ERP integration is operating effectively, as well as assist in lookback reviews.Tax Reporting: Lead the state and local income tax compliance and reporting processes, including the preparation of state modifications and related matrices.Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize tax liabilities. Advise business on tax risks in customer and supplier contracts, as well as sales and usetax risks in due diligence. Advise on best practices and engine optimization.Audit Support: Provide support during tax audits, including gathering documentation and
responding to inquiries from tax authorities. Quantify sales and use tax risks under ASC 450. Enter into voluntary disclosure agreements as necessary.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax function.
