Office Assistant engagement will start 2/24 and span through mid-April. In this engagement, you will primarily focus on assembling tax returns in paper format as well as electronic format. Labeling of documents; scanning and photocopying of tax and other confidential documents. Tracking of detailed information in a database. Working in a fast-paced, busy environment in the height of busy season! What You'll Do: + Executing on an organized intake process for new and returning clients + Photocopying and scanning of tax returns and associated documentation + Electronic filing of such documents into tax system + Collating of tax returns with correct schedules and attachments provided to the correct parties + Providing backup to Receptionist as needed Tax Assemblers and Support Staff are critical to a CPA firm this time of year as you provide crucial administrative support in the processing of personal tax returns for a wide variety of small owner managed clients and private entities.
