Description We are offering a role in the financial services industry based in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28277, United States. We are seeking a Tax Preparer to join our team on a long-term contract. In this role, you will be tasked with various accounting functions including the preparation of both business and personal tax returns, utilizing various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: • Utilize Drake Tax Software and other relevant accounting software systems to process tax returns efficiently. • Prepare both business and personal tax returns with high accuracy. • Undertake data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer credit records. • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. • Carry out other accounting functions as required. • Manage allowances and deductions in tax return preparation. • Work with ADP - Financial Services and CCH ProSystem Fx as necessary. • Ensure compliance with CCH Sales Tax requirements in tax return preparation. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must for effective management of financial data • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services will be required for efficient handling of tax related tasks • Knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx is essential for tax preparation and compliance • Experience with CCH Sales Tax will be beneficial for managing sales tax related matters • Skill in using Drake Tax Software is necessary for the role • Understanding of various Accounting Functions is required to ensure accurate financial reporting • Knowledge of Allowances is important for accurate calculation of taxable income • Excellent Customer Service skills are needed to handle client queries and concerns effectively • Strong Data Entry skills are required for accurate input of financial data • Understanding of Deductibles is essential for accurate calculation of taxable income.
