Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team in Littleton, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing individual tax returns and, if you have experience, you may also handle business tax preparations. This role is a short term contract employment opportunity that operates in a HYBRID work environment. Responsibilities: • Preparation of individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency. • Reviewing individual tax preparations to ensure correctness and completeness. • If experienced, handling business tax preparations as well. • Utilizing Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparations. • Taking the initiative to jump right into work without requiring constant supervision. • Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect our clients. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Preparer • Proficient in Tax Preparation processes and procedures • Proven experience in Individual Tax Return • Demonstrated expertise in using Lacerte Tax Software • Certified Tax Preparer or relevant qualifications preferred • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of professionalism and commitment to client satisfaction Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
