Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team operating in the financial industry. The role is based in Houston, Texas, and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Tax Preparer, you will be tasked with handling both individual and business tax returns using UltraTax, a critical requirement for this position. Responsibilities: • Accurately process individual tax returns utilizing UltraTax • Manage corporate tax returns using UltraTax • Ensure the accurate processing of annual tax documents • Oversee the preparation and submission of federal income tax returns • Handle personal tax returns with precision and efficiency • Regularly monitor and update customer credit records • Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their tax returns • Proactively monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required Requirements • Proficiency in preparing annual tax returns • Expertise in using Ultra Tax software • Competence in preparing corporate tax returns • Thorough understanding of federal income tax laws and regulations • Experience in preparing income tax returns • Ability to handle and prepare personal tax returns Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
