Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer to join our team in Blackwood, New Jersey. In this capacity, you will be tasked with processing individual and business tax returns, utilizing a variety of accounting software systems. Responsibilities: • Handle and process individual tax returns accurately and efficiently. • Manage and process business tax returns with utmost precision. • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries promptly. • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and activities. • Perform data entry tasks related to tax preparation. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed. • Undertake accounting functions as per the established guidelines. • Manage allowances and deductions in tax returns. • Use ADP - Financial Services and CCH Sales Tax for financial management. Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a necessity for this role. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Proficiency in Drake Tax Software is a crucial requirement. • The candidate must be skilled in various Accounting Functions. • Understanding of Allowances is essential for this role. • Excellent Customer Service skills are required. • Understanding of Deductible is a must for this position.
