Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in the accounting industry. Based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, you will be part of a team working in a detail-oriented environment. As a Tax Preparer, you will primarily be responsible for handling individual tax returns, utilizing various accounting software systems, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: • Accurately handle individual tax returns • Utilize and navigate accounting software systems effectively • Provide exceptional customer service to clients • Perform data entry tasks related to tax preparation • Handle accounting functions as necessary • Utilize ADP - Financial Services for various tasks • Operate CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax effectively • Understand and apply knowledge of allowances and deductibles in the tax preparation process • Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts • Train and assist other accountants in handling returns when necessary Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must • Ability to use Drake Tax Software is crucial • Understanding of standard Accounting Functions is required • Knowledge of Allowances in the tax sector is important • Excellent Customer Service skills are a must • Proficiency in Data Entry tasks is vital • Understanding of tax Deductibles is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
