Description We are offering a short-term opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Hillsdale, Michigan. Joining our team, you will be integral in processing customer tax details, maintaining accurate records, and handling customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Responsibilities • Utilize Accounting Software Systems to process customer tax details with precision and efficiency • Maintain and update customer tax records to ensure accuracy • Handle customer inquiries related to tax preparation and provide excellent customer service • Utilize ADP - Financial Services, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax systems in the execution of tax preparation duties • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to resolve any issues • Perform data entry tasks related to tax preparation and customer account management • Understand allowances and deductions in the tax preparation process • Use Drake Tax Software for tax preparation tasks • Carry out various accounting functions as required in tax preparation Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required • Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx is preferred • Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax is essential • Ability to use Drake Tax Software is necessary • Understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial • Experience with Allowances is desirable • Strong Customer Service skills are required • Proficiency in Data Entry is needed • Familiarity with Deductible is important Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
