Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be critical in assisting clients with preparing and filing their tax returns, utilizing your knowledge of financial concepts and tax regulations. Responsibilities: • Assisting in the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses • Utilizing your knowledge of Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services to provide excellent service • Addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner • Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to accurately advise clients • Analyzing financial data to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations • Using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other accounting tools for tax preparation • Conducting client interviews to gather necessary financial information for tax return preparation • Working effectively with others while maintaining a proactive and well-organized workflow • Managing and operating accounting functions and allowances with precision • Ensuring accuracy in data entry and customer service tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is crucial. • Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is desirable. • Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax is beneficial. • Proficiency in Drake Tax Software is essential. • Ability to perform Accounting Functions is required. • Understanding of Allowances in the context of tax preparation is necessary. • Exceptional Customer Service skills are vital. • Proficiency in Data Entry is necessary. • Understanding of tax Deductibles is required.
