Description One of our clients in the Danville area is looking for a Tax Preparer during Tax season. ***Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration*** + Compile tax return data from client provided documentation and consultation. + Responsible for preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses. + Review financial records, expenses and income to determine forms needed to prepare return. + Identify potential tax credits and liabilities and ensure accurate reporting. + Ensure tax deductions and credits are leveraged by staying updated on existing and new tax laws. + Answer client questions and provide future tax planning to clients. + Assist with IRS audit follow-up and help to resolve any discrepancies. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. + Minimum of 2 years of previous tax preparation experience required. + Knowledge of tax software and Microsoft Office. + Strong attention to detail and confidentiality. + Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.
