Description We are offering a role in the field of Tax Preparation located in Mayfield, Ohio. The role involves handling customer service, data entry, and accounting functions in a setting that requires attention to detail. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Preparing basic 1040s for personal tax returns • Efficient data entry and document scanning • Proper use of accounting software systems like Intuit Pro Series or similar • Managing customer inquiries and providing high-quality customer service • Monitoring customer accounts and implementing required actions • Ensuring accurate record keeping of customer credit information • Utilizing knowledge of allowances and deductions in tax preparation • Handling accounting functions using financial services like ADP • Working with tax software like CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, or Drake Tax Software • Maintaining high standards of work and attention to detail at all times. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must. • Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is crucial. • Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax software is desired. • Ability to operate Drake Tax Software effectively. • Understanding of various accounting functions is essential. • Knowledge about allowances in tax preparation is necessary. • Excellent customer service skills are required. • Experience in data entry tasks is a must. • Understanding of tax deductibles is vital.
