Description We are in the process of recruiting a Tax Preparer to join our team in GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania. The focus of this role is to accurately prepare and file state and federal tax returns for our clients, with an emphasis on thoroughness and detail. This role is an opportunity for a short term contract employment. Responsibilities: • Conduct interviews with clients to collect necessary details and documents for accurate tax return completion. • Manage the preparation of individual and business income tax returns, including associated schedules and financial statements. • Ensure all tax forms and documents are in compliance with the established IRS and local tax regulations. • Provide clients with strategic guidance on tax planning. • Review and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy. • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their tax returns. • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Use accounting and tax software proficiently to facilitate efficient work processes. • Uphold high standards of customer service throughout all interactions. • Perform data entry tasks as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
