Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer for our operations in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The selected candidate will be tasked with managing tax return forms and maintaining client relationships, among other responsibilities. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Manage and prepare various tax return forms such as 1040, 1120S, 1120, and 1065. • Utilize ATX tax software for tax preparation and other accounting functions. • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service. • Maintain and manage client portal through Canopy. • Employ SplashTop and other necessary software to accomplish tasks. • Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping. • Process and monitor client accounts regularly. • Use accounting software systems and tools like CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax. • Understand and apply knowledge of allowances and deductibles in tax preparation. • Comply with IRS regulations and guidelines in preparing forms like IRS Form 1065 and IRS Form 1120S.
