Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Boulder, Colorado. We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team. This role is centered in the industry and requires familiarity with Accounting Software Systems, Accounting Functions, and Data Entry, as well as expertise in Ultra Tax and Lacerte Tax Software. Your primary responsibilities will be to prepare individual and business tax returns. Responsibilities: • Prepare individual tax returns using Lacerte Tax Software. • Process corporate tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws. • Utilize Ultra Tax for the preparation of business tax returns. • Ensure efficient data entry for all tax-related matters. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRS Form 1065 and Form 1120. • Handle the preparation of Partnership Tax and Partnership Returns. • Oversee the processing of Franchise Tax Returns. • Maintain accurate records of all tax preparation activities. • Ensure compliance with all accounting functions. • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations.
