Description We are providing a long term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Mclean, Virginia. In this role, you will be working within the accounting industry, utilizing your skills in various accounting software systems and customer service. This position involves a variety of tasks including preparing tax returns and administrative duties. Responsibilities: • Prepare and process individual and corporate tax returns • Utilize Intuit ProSeries and QuickBooks for tax preparation and other accounting functions • Keep up with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate tax preparation • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer records • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries promptly • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary • Conduct some administrative tasks related to tax preparation.
