Description We are actively searching for a Tax Preparer to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be tasked with aiding our local firm with various tax-related duties, including preparing basic tax returns and maintaining accurate records. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilize QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping and tax preparation procedures. • Prepare complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws. • Assist in preparing individual tax returns for a diverse client base. • Utilize UltraTax software to streamline tax preparation processes. • Handle tax-related inquiries from high net worth individuals professionally and efficiently. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all tax activities. • Take necessary actions based on the monitoring of customer accounts.
