Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer. The role involves working with the Tax & Accounting Teams and handling a variety of responsibilities. This role is based in a central location and may require travel between different offices. Responsibilities: • Accurate data entry of tax information, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date • Facilitate the processing of personal and corporate returns, including C and S-Corps • Coordinate with the Accounting team to gather all necessary documentation, such as W2, Tax Forms, and Form 1099 • Enter sensitive financial information in a secure and confidential manner • Use of Lacerte Tax Software for tax-related tasks and QuickBooks for accounting purposes • Handle business returns, ensuring all information is accurate and complete • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tax Preparer • Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel • Experience in preparing Corporate Tax Returns • Experience in preparing Individual Tax Returns • Knowledge of S-Corps • Familiarity with W2 and other tax forms • Experience in handling Form 1099 Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
