Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in the detail-oriented Services industry, located in Greeley, Colorado. In this role, you will utilize your skills in Accounting Functions, Customer Service, Data Entry, Deductible, Ultra Tax, and Tax - Personal to provide efficient and effective services to our clients. Responsibilities: • Handle all aspects of tax preparation, including data entry and review of client information. • Use accounting software systems to manage and maintain accurate records. • Provide excellent customer service by resolving client inquiries and concerns. • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx and Ultra Tax for client tax preparation. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications. • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and apply these changes to client cases. • Work with ADP - Financial Services to streamline client financial management. • Perform other related Accounting Functions as required. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar tax preparer role within the detail oriented services industry • Demonstrable proficiency in accounting functions, including balance sheet analysis, income statement preparation, and cash flow forecasting • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax-related information to clients in a clear and comprehensible manner • Proficient in data entry, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy to ensure correct input of financial data • Familiarity with the concept of 'Deductible' and able to identify deductible expenses to optimize client tax returns • Experience working with Ultra Tax software, or similar tax preparation software, to efficiently process client tax information • Comprehensive knowledge of personal tax laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge to diverse client scenarios Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
