Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Tax Preparer with expertise in CCH ProSystem fx to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist clients with their tax preparation needs, ensuring accuracy, compliance with current tax regulations, and top-tier service in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns using CCH ProSystem fx. + Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. + Conduct tax research as necessary to optimize client outcomes and address specific scenarios. + Analyze financial information and develop strategies for tax minimization for clients. + Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary documentation to accurately complete tax filings. + Maintain confidentiality and secure client information in compliance with firm policies and industry best practices. + Stay up-to-date on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide current and proactive guidance. + Participate in occasional virtual meetings with clients and team members to discuss tax strategies or resolve issues. Requirements + Proven experience as a tax preparer with hands-on use of CCH ProSystem fx software. + Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations. + CPA certification preferred but not required (strong preference for candidates with relevant licenses or certifications). + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a remote environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Comfort with remote tools such as video conferencing, cloud document sharing, and customer relationship management platforms.
