Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. As a Tax Preparer, you will play a crucial role in managing accounting functions, using specialized software, and ensuring the provision of excellent customer service. This role provides a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilize Drake Tax Software for efficient tax preparation • Perform accounting functions accurately, ensuring financial data is up to date • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries • Conduct data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate customer records • Work with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales to streamline tax preparation processes • Determine deductible items for clients, optimizing their tax returns. Requirements • Proficiency with Drake Tax Software is necessary for the efficient execution of tax preparation tasks. • Extensive knowledge of accounting functions is required to ensure accurate and compliant tax preparation. • Exceptional customer service skills are required to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty. • Must have excellent data entry skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in tax preparation and filing processes. • Familiarity with tax deductions is needed to maximize client benefits and ensure compliance with tax laws.
