Description Job Title: Tax Preparer Type: Fulltime, Temporary (Potential Temp-to-Hire) Start Date: ASAP Duration: At least through June, with potential for full-time hire Location: Onsite Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team for a temporary assignment with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing both corporate and individual tax returns, and proficiency with CCH ProSystem Fx software. Responsibilities: + Prepare and file corporate and individual income tax returns accurately and in compliance with federal and state tax laws. + Review financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and other supporting documentation to ensure proper tax calculations. + Provide income tax accounting services to clients and respond to client inquiries regarding tax matters. + Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx software for tax return preparation and document management. + Stay up-to-date on tax laws and changes in regulations to ensure accuracy in all tax filings. Requirements Qualifications: + Proven experience as a Tax Preparer with a strong understanding of corporate and individual tax returns. + Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx or similar tax software. + Strong knowledge of income tax accounting principles and tax filing requirements. + Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills. + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. + Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Additional Information: + This position is onsite, and the assignment is expected to last through June, with potential for a permanent hire based on performance and fit.
