Description We are seeking a Tax Preparer for our operations in Aiken, South Carolina. This role involves the execution of various accounting functions, utilizing Accounting Software Systems, and providing excellent customer service. Offering a long-term contract employment opportunity, this role is a perfect fit for individuals proficient in CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and QuickBooks. Responsibilities: • Facilitate the accurate and efficient processing of customer tax preparations. • Handle data entry tasks related to tax preparation. • Utilize Accounting Software Systems to manage and execute accounting functions. • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of allowances and deductions in tax preparation. • Respond to customer inquiries and provide top-notch customer service. • Maintain accurate customer records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. • Monitor customer accounts and make necessary adjustments or actions. • Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for various tax preparation tasks. • Utilize QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax Software in executing job functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must. • Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is required. • Familiarity with CCH Sales Tax is essential. • Ability to handle all Accounting Functions effectively. • Knowledge of Allowances is necessary. • Exceptional Customer Service skills are crucial. • Must be adept in Data Entry tasks. • Understanding of Deductibles is important. • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required. • Experience with Lacerte Tax Software is preferred.
