Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Tax Preparer, you will be expected to understand and apply financial concepts to manage individual and corporate taxes. You will be using CCH software and other accounting systems to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery. Responsibilities: • Understand and apply general tax processes for individual and corporate clients. • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx and other accounting software systems to manage tax tasks and responsibilities. • Provide customer service by resolving customer inquiries and maintaining customer relations. • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of customer transactions. • Handle accounting functions related to tax preparation and submission. • Familiarize yourself with allowances and deductible items to provide the best tax advice to clients. • Use your knowledge of ADP - Financial Services to enhance the financial management of our clients. • Adapt to the use of Drake Tax Software to assist in tax preparation and management. • Understand and apply CCH Sales Tax principles to ensure compliance with tax laws. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is expected. • Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is required. • Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax is essential. • Thorough understanding of all Accounting Functions is vital. • Knowledge of Allowances is crucial. • Excellent Customer Service skills are required. • Proficiency in Data Entry is expected. • Understanding of Deductibles is necessary.
