Description * Immediate hire * Job Title: Tax Preparer Location: On-site Cupertino Ca. (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour Key Responsibilities: + Prepare individual and business tax returns using Lacerte software + Review and organize financial documents, ensuring all information is accurate and complete + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations + Assist with filing and processing tax returns in a timely manner + Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work performed + Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary tax-related information + Perform data entry and financial calculations, as needed + Utilize Excel for data analysis and to support tax-related tasks + Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity Requirements Qualifications: + Expertise in Lacerte tax software is required + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Prior experience preparing individual and/or business tax returns + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Excellent communication and organizational skills + Strong time management skills to meet deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
