Description We are in search of a Part Time Tax Preparer (Lacerte) to join our team situated in Half Moon Bay, California. As a Tax Preparer, your responsibilities will include data entry and customer service, with a focus on handling individual tax information. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The expected hours are to range around 20 hours per week and has a duration up to 2/15. Responsibilities: • Utilize Lacerte software proficiently to input individual tax data • Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of processing customer credit applications • Maintain precise records of customer credit • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate measures when necessary • Leverage accounting software systems to perform accounting functions • Manage allowances and deductions in tax preparation Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Tax Preparer role or similar • Excellent customer service skills • Proficient in data entry • Understanding of deductibles in tax preparation • Experience with Lacerte Tax Software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
