Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. + Assist clients with tax planning and filing strategies to optimize outcomes. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. + Organize and analyze financial information to ensure accuracy in tax preparation. + Research and resolve tax-related inquiries or discrepancies. + Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather required documentation. + Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations. Requirements What We’re Looking For: + Entry-Level Candidates: Basic understanding of tax preparation and accounting principles. Relevant coursework or internship experience preferred. + Experienced Professionals: Proven track record in tax preparation with experience handling complex returns. + Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte, UltraTax, ProSeries) and Microsoft Excel. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. + CPA or EA certification is a plus for experienced roles. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
