**Tax Process Advisor, Intelligent Automation - Tax Technology & Transformation (Financial Services Office) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1541972), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Los Angeles, CA.**
Provide business tax services to help clients in financial services industry meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance and planning. Support the production of leading practice tax software solutions, and support and automate internal and external operations of multinational tax departments. Monitor assigned tasks until completion, including documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging systems, documenting and implementing process change and monitoring overall project profitability for financial services clients in the Insurance, Banking Capital Markets and Wealth and Asset Management industries. Identify ways to automate manual tasks using existing and emerging technologies. Consolidate tax data to make analysis and planning more efficient. Improve reporting capabilities to enhance our clients’ ability to evaluate risk and capitalize on opportunities.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems, Tax, Statistics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in tax process and data improvement. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems, Tax, Statistics, or a related field and 4 years of work experience in tax process and data improvement.
Must have 4 years of experience in tax processes or operational assessments.
Must have 4 years of experience in Tax Data and Reporting requirements for ERP systems using one of the following: Investran, Salesforce, JD Edwards, PAM, CAMRA, SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion.
Must have 4 years of experience in implementing direct tax provision and compliance tools using one of the following: ONESOURCE, GoSystems, Corptax, Longview, or Oracle Tax Reporting.
Must have 4 years of experience in tax technologies for partner data, K-1, securities analysis and allocations for US compliance.
Must have 4 years of experience in analytics tools, including Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects, or Tableau.
Must have 4 years of experience with custom applications using one of the following: Visual Studio, VBA/VSTO, SharePoint, Power Automate, or Power App.
Must have 4 years of experience in robotics process automation software configuration, design, implementation and operation, including Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Microsoft Power Query and/or Alteryx.
Must have 4 years of experience with data integration, information systems, data migration, and ETL (extract, transform and load).
Must have 4 years of experience supporting the development and delivery of training materials on tax technologies.
Must have 2 years of experience in supervising teams consisting of at least 2 people on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
Requires domestic travel up to 50%, in order to serve client needs.
