Description We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Reviewer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in analyzing, preparing, and reviewing various types of tax returns while ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal tax laws. Proficiency in using Lacerte or Pro FX is highly desirable. Responsibilities: + Perform detailed reviews of tax returns to ensure accuracy and completeness. + Use Lacerte or Pro FX software for tax preparation and review. + Collaborate with tax preparers to correct errors and optimize tax strategies. + Stay abreast of the latest changes in tax regulations and laws. + Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to less experienced tax preparation staff. + Maintain the highest level of client confidentiality. + Deliver high-quality customer service and provide tax-related advice as needed. Requirements Qualifications: + At least 8 years of experience in tax preparation, review, and advising, preferably within an accounting firm or a similar setting. + Strong knowledge of Lacerte or Pro FX and other tax preparation software. + In-depth understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. + Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
