Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Reviewer/Preparer to join our team in LIBERTYVILLE, Illinois. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry. The position involves a comprehensive understanding and application of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on individual, corporate, and partnership tax preparation. Responsibilities • Prepare and review individual (1040), corporate (1120), and partnership (1065) taxes. • Utilize various accounting software systems effectively for task completion. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations by accurately preparing IRS forms. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax. • Efficiently manage data entry tasks related to tax preparation. • Execute accounting functions in accordance with established standards. • Utilize Drake Tax Software for effective and accurate tax preparation. • Address and resolve customer inquiries related to tax preparation. • Monitor customer accounts and provide appropriate tax-related advice. • Understand and apply knowledge of allowances in tax preparation.
