About the Role:

The Sales Tax Senior is responsible for sales tax compliance, use tax filings, and business licenses. This role will also work with our Marketing and IT teams to ensure that products are set up correctly in our sales tax software to ensure correct sales tax withholding and payments.

What you'll do:

Navigate and accurately apply sales tax regulations, ensuring prompt payment and compliance with state and local tax laws.Review payments made by the company and provide use tax amounts to accounting for payment.Prepare and submit sales tax returns to relevant authorities, meeting strict filing deadlines.Collaborate in sales tax audits, furnishing responses to inquiries and providing vital documentation to support tax positions.Stay abreast of dynamic changes in sales tax regulations, translating and integrating these shifts into the company’s operational framework. Assist in revolutionizing the compliance function by identifying and implementing process improvements ; and Assist with special projects as necessary.

What you'll need:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or relevant experience.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners .Ability to manage large amounts of electronic data , think critically, and identify data patterns and issues.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and complete work on time.Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

Bonus points for:

Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 5 years in sales tax compliance, commission calculations, and accounts receivable accounting.Experience with SAP and SabrixIn-depth understanding of state and local sales tax regulations.Our Benefits & Perks:
