Job Summary

\n

The Tax Specialist position is responsible for oversight and management of all Association tax related filing and reporting. This is an accounting support position in a fast paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America.

\n

\n

Job Responsibilities:

\n\nOversee and manage a portfolio of branch offices.\nManage and remit via the IRS EFTPS system estimated tax payments as provided by CPA.\nTrack annual Association income tax return filing process.\nTrack Association Sales Tax returns based on filing requirements.\nTrack Use Tax returns based on filing requirements.\nTrack Association Income Tax returns as assigned.\nTrack annual state tax filings.\nOversee and manage audit process as assigned.\nPerform bank reconciliations as needed.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

\n

\n\nKnowledge of IRS and state tax codes.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nProfessional customer service skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n

Education and Experience:

\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\n0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience.\n
