Tax Sr. Group Manager - C15 - CIUDAD DE MEXICO
The Mexico Tax Head is a senior level role managing a team of professionals for income tax reporting and compliance for Citi’s Institutional legal entities. The role reports to Citi’s Head of International Tax. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with colleagues across the globe to ensure International Tax meeting its objectives and reporting requirements. **What you’ll do:** + Management of the Mexico income tax compliance cycle including but not limited to tax return review and timely submission, claims and elections, and tax payments. + Management of relationship with SAT on Mexico income tax matters. + Management and review of transfer pricing documentation. + Management of financial reporting for income taxes for local GAAP, US GAAP, and management reporting purposes. + Support Mexico Management as required. + Management of Pillar 2 reporting obligations in the Mexico. + Timely escalation of tax reporting risks. + Ensure appropriate substantiation of income tax balances. + Management of income tax related disclosures required for statutory accounts and audited financial statements. + Monitor Mexico tax technical and legislative developments and advise the business accordingly. + Ensure compliance with risk and control standards and internal policies. + Management of third-party engagements supporting compliance and planning matters. **What we’ll need from you:** + Extensive professional experience. + Mexico corporate income tax experience in a financial services company. + Proficient in US and Mexican GAAP accounting for income taxes. + Experience managing relations with tax authorities and external auditors. + Senior Stakeholder Management experience. + Experience managing a team. ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Finance ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Tax ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
