Description We are on the lookout for a proficient Tax Staff - Corporate to become an integral part of our team in Costa Mesa, California. As a Tax Staff - Corporate, you will be tasked with preparing various tax returns, processing payroll, and maintaining trial balances and adjusting journal entries. You will also be responsible for bookkeeping tasks as required and will need to be familiar with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities: • Accurately prepare and process different types of tax returns including income, sales, payroll, and property. • Manage and maintain working trial balances and adjusting journal entries. • Carry out payroll processing tasks with accuracy and efficiency. • Perform necessary bookkeeping tasks as and when required. • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite to carry out various tasks. • Ensure adherence to corporate tax compliance rules and regulations. • Regularly update and maintain accurate customer credit records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary. • Utilize knowledge of CCH ProSystem Fx and SAP S/4HANA for various tasks. • Prepare ad hoc reports and carry out compliance audits as required. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role • Proficiency in using tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx is mandatory • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required for this position • Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus • Must have the ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting as required • A strong understanding of Compliance is necessary for this role • Prior experience in Compliance Audit is highly beneficial • Must have experience with Corporate Income Tax • Knowledge of Corporate Tax Compliance is essential • Capability to handle Annual Tax responsibilities effectively is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
