Description We are in search of a Tax Staff - Public to be an integral part of our team. The individual will work in the industry of public accounting, based in Santa Barbara, California. The person will handle a variety of tax-related tasks while also ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial information. Responsibilities: • Handling the accurate and timely completion of Individual, Corporate, Estate, Trust Tax Returns. • Engaging in the preparation of monthly financial statements to ensure they are up-to-date. • Conducting account reconciliation tasks to maintain financial accuracy. • Ensuring the correct entry and posting of year-end closing journal entries. • Overseeing the process of payroll and the production of associated reports. • Taking responsibility for sales tax matters, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
