Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Tax Staff - Public in the Accounting industry, based in High Point, North Carolina. This role involves processing various tax reports, maintaining financial records, and handling tax returns. Responsibilities: • Manage the preparation and review of Corporate and Partnership tax returns • Ensure accurate recording of employee compensation and process payroll tax payments • Handle the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Oversee the maintenance of general ledger accounts and preparation of journal entries • Assist with the processing of 1099's and payroll tax quarterly and annual reports, including W-2 preparation • Support financial management by delivering timely and precise financial information • Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes • Be responsible for payroll tax reporting, sales tax reporting, and property tax reporting Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in the public tax sector • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management tasks • Demonstrated ability in Payroll Tax Reporting • Experience in handling Property Tax matters • Proven expertise in preparing Corporate Tax Returns • Capability to manage and execute Partnership Tax Returns effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
