Description We are seeking a Tax Staff - Public to join our team located in Pismo Beach, California. As part of our CPA firm, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge in tax consulting, planning, and preparation services. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries, as well as monitoring customer accounts. Responsibilities: • Utilize accounting principles to prepare corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns • Ensure compliance with Internal Revenue Code sections and regulations • Conduct research using firm library resources to enhance knowledge and efficiency • Maintain and update customer credit records accurately • Process customer credit applications with attention to detail • Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other management systems for accounting functions • Develop auditing skills under the guidance of seniors, supervisors, managers, or partners • Contribute to the firm's mission by providing quality and detail-oriented services.
