Join our team as a Tax Manager! We seek an experienced professional with 5+ years in federal, state, and local tax regulations, compliance, and tax coordination (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040, 1041). Supervisory experience and proficiency in Thomson Reuters, Intuit Pro Series, Google Suite, and advanced Excel are preferred. This position is 100% remote for candidates who are open to working a Eastern Standard Time schedule!
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee tax return preparation and delivery (600+ per year)
· Manage quarterly tax payments and agency notifications
· Prepare federal, state, and local business and individual tax returns
· Provide strategic tax advice and conduct research
· Ensure compliance with tax regulations
· Analyze financial data and manage client relationships
· Train and oversee mid-level staff
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· CPA or EA designation
· 5+ years in public accounting
· Proficiency in tax preparation software and project management
